Decoding Percent Encoded Octets in URLs

In the recently concluded CPI challenge, one part that was missed in most submissions was implementing decoding of percent-encoded octets that were submitted in the query string of the HTTP request. This was not stated as an explicit requirement in the challenge and therefore required the participants to have an implicit understanding of how HTTP URLs work. Those who knew this indeed scored higher in the challenge, gaining bonus points along the way – 2 out of 3 finalists implemented such decoding.

SAP Process Orchestration (SAP PO) support extended till 2030!

In the latest announcement (SAP OSS note 1648480), SAP has confirmed that SAP PO in version 7.5 will be supported till 2030! This is great news for 12.000 existing customers as it not only means their investment in SAP PO landscape in secured but also confirms a very important information that SAP PO is still the main ESB for SAP and customers don’t need to rush to migrate to SAP CPI if they are not ready for the next decade.
