Int4 consultants took part in SAP AIF 3.0 workshop held on 2-3 of September in Walldorf. AIF (Application Interface Framework) is a tool for monitoring integration scenarios on the backend systems and soon a new release (3.0) will be available to all customers.
Von Roll and Int4 have successfully completed the integration of SAP ECC with external scales using a serial port interface. After connecting a scale to the workstation, users can have the system determine the weight of a handling unit with the touch of a button directly from the SAP application, for example, in the Packing Station program (HUPAST) or other custom solutions in the SAP system.
